Base Salary
$85k - $107k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and extend Server Driven UI components for dynamic chat experiences across Android, iOS, and Web.
- Write, test, and ship production-grade Python and TypeScript across the chat platform stack.
- Contribute to streaming APIs and client SDKs supporting real-time chat interactions.
- Translate product requirements into platform capabilities in partnership with chat features and chat intelligence teams.
- Instrument chat flows with metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting for reliability at scale.
- Participate in code reviews, on-call rotations, and incident response.
- Investigate production issues and implement fixes across multiple services and client surfaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, system design, and clean, tested, maintainable software.
- Familiarity with client-server architecture.
- Ability to ramp quickly on unfamiliar codebases and ask effective questions.
- Clear written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration and documentation.
- Interest in real-time systems, streaming protocols, or platform and infrastructure work.
- Complete a final-panel coding exercise using React and Flask in a code repository platform.
