Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable, resilient, message-driven back-end services using Java.
- Write maintainable code with 80% unit test coverage and comprehensive end-to-end and integration testing.
- Optimize core back-end modules and services for reliability, maintainability, performance, and scalability.
- Research and adopt relevant back-end development technologies and practices.
- Provide technical mentorship, architectural guidance, code reviews, and career support to junior and mid-level developers.
- Collaborate with Product, Risk, Compliance, and Finance stakeholders to build secure and compliant financial systems.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on software development experience using Java and modern frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases, preferably including Postgres and MongoDB.
- Proven experience creating, scaling, and maintaining publicly available REST APIs, including performance optimization.
- Practical knowledge of message-oriented middleware and event-driven microservices, ideally with Apache Kafka or ZeroMQ.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- AWS and Kubernetes experience is highly preferred, while experience with another major public cloud provider is welcomed.
