Base Salary
$178k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Automate security tools and develop security solutions for AWS Professional Services.
- Conduct application security reviews, threat modeling, and security risk analysis.
- Design secure architectures and provide security guidance to Professional Services teams.
- Deliver security metrics, improve operational efficiency, and prioritize automation opportunities.
- Implement scalable audit processes for security controls and compliance standards.
- Develop security training, documentation, policies, and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and teams through security training and guidance.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of non-internship experience troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating complex tasks with command-line tools.
- At least 5 years of experience identifying security issues and risks and developing mitigation plans.
- At least 4 years of non-internship experience with scripting, programming, and security code review in common programming languages.
- Knowledge of at least two of Scala, Java, Python, C, C++, or Go.
- At least 5 years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
- Preferred experience applying threat modeling or other risk-identification techniques or equivalent approaches.
- Preferred experience with security in service-oriented architectures, microservices, and web services.
- Preferred experience as a mentor, technical lead, or engineering team leader.
- The selected candidate must be a US citizen.
