Base Salary
$125k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native Database Access Control frameworks and extend or replace DACT capabilities.
- Configure and manage database roles, privileges, schemas, grants, and row-level security across multiple platforms.
- Develop RBAC and ABAC authorization models and integrate AWS IAM, SSO, and federated authentication.
- Design secure AWS cloud database architectures and support modernization and migration initiatives.
- Develop reusable AWS CDK constructs, stacks, deployment pipelines, and automated AWS resource provisioning.
- Implement multi-account and multi-environment AWS deployments and maintain and troubleshoot CDK infrastructure.
- Ensure database security controls meet enterprise governance, audit, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with security, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams on enterprise database security standards.
- Produce technical documentation, operational runbooks, security procedures, and compliance reporting.
Requirements
- Expertise with Sybase ASE/DB2 and Aurora PostgreSQL.
- Strong knowledge of AWS security and identity management, cloud database architecture, and database migration.
- Experience developing and administering RBAC and ABAC authorization models.
- Hands-on AWS Cloud Development Kit experience is mandatory, including reusable constructs, stacks, deployment pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with multi-account and multi-environment AWS deployments using CDK.
- Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain CDK-based infrastructure solutions.
- Experience with database security controls, federated authentication, compliance, governance, and regulatory requirements.
