Responsibilities
- Perform security assessments of AI tooling and agentic platforms, including architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews, and penetration tests.
- Provide security requirements, remediation guidance, and feature enhancement recommendations to team members and prospective suppliers.
- Threat model attacker methods and develop mitigations that balance security and functional requirements.
- Develop automated processes and improve tooling to identify and solve security problems at scale.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and business partners to drive secure development lifecycle solutions.
- Define technical security standards and guidelines, research emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and communicate findings through writing, presentations, events, conferences, and published research.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a security role for the Senior level or 8+ years for the Lead level.
- Experience building, evaluating, or securing large language models and agentic systems.
- Familiarity with AI security attack surfaces including prompt injection, data exfiltration, privilege escalation in agents, and model supply chain risks.
- A related technical degree is required.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, critical-thinking, communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Preferred qualifications include understanding of RAG architectures, classifier models, retrieval and generation pipelines, security frameworks, relevant certifications, and experience defining security remediation tasks.

- The position offers an annual base salary range of $148,500-$260,100, or $178,900-$285,800 in select San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas; bonus, equity, and benefits may also apply.
