Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments including architecture and design reviews, code reviews, and penetration tests.
- Provide remediation guidance and feature-enhancement recommendations.
- Threat model attacker methods and develop mitigation techniques balancing security and functional needs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and business partners on secure development lifecycles.
- Define technical security standards and guidelines.
- Research emerging technologies, threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Build automated tools and processes that enable secure use of AI at scale.
- Share security knowledge through internal events, conferences, and research.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering, including application security and penetration testing.
- Experience developing automated processes and improving tooling to solve problems at scale.
- Experience building, evaluating, or securing large language models and agentic systems.
- Experience with AI security attack surfaces including prompt injection, data exfiltration, agent privilege escalation, and model supply chain risks.
- Understanding of RAG architectures, classifier models, and retrieval and generation pipelines.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills.
- A related technical degree is required.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, OWASP Top 10, CWE Top 25, and MITRE ATT&CK is preferred.
- A relevant BA/BS degree and certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, CCIE, CISM, CISA, or CCSK are preferred.
- Experience defining and communicating security remediation tasks to project and data owners is preferred.
