Base Salary
$192k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own Bits Code’s security architecture and implementation from early design through production operation.
- Partner with engineering, product, infrastructure, and security teams to identify risks and shape the product.
- Build threat models for agent risks including prompt injection.
- Write and maintain core security libraries while guiding secure development processes and culture.
- Collaborate with sandbox teams on the execution of untrusted workloads.
- Participate in on-call operations for the systems you build and run.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific field, or at least 5 years of professional experience.
- Professional background in product security, application security, or security architecture.
- Experience securing systems operating across complex trust boundaries.
- Experience building and operating full-stack systems at scale.
- Familiarity with security risks in agentic systems and experience designing against them.
- Ability to make pragmatic security trade-offs.
