Base Salary
$69k - $147k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, test, debug, and support full-stack web applications using the MERN stack and SQL.
- Collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, lead developers, and teammates to translate business needs into technical solutions and deliver project goals.
- Provide technical and escalated help desk support, monitor support trends, and recommend application improvements.
- Manage source code with Git, including branching, merging, and pull requests, and promote version-control best practices.
- Deploy and maintain applications on AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements and create actionable requirements and functional specifications.
- Follow software development best practices for security, documentation, testing, and performance.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional full-stack web development experience focused on the MERN stack.
- Strong proficiency with SQL databases, including complex query writing and database design.
- Hands-on experience with Git version control and collaborative workflows.
- Practical knowledge of AWS cloud services and deployment best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Preferred qualifications include Docker and Kubernetes experience, CI/CD automation, TypeScript, additional modern JavaScript frameworks, AI-driven development tools, property and casualty insurance or claims knowledge, and analytics experience with Excel, Power BI, or R Shiny.
