Base Salary
$152k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable fullstack services and interfaces.
- Drive technical design and architectural decisions across frontend and backend systems.
- Define technical scope and deliver complex logistics features with Product, Design, and Data Science partners.
- Identify technical debt, scalability bottlenecks, and architectural opportunities.
- Mentor engineers, conduct design and code reviews, and promote shared ownership.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cross-layer production issues.
- Champion testing, security, maintainability, and deployment best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years working across backend and frontend systems.
- Strong coding skills in one or more of Go, Java, Python, or C++, plus React, TypeScript, or HTML/CSS.
- Experience building scalable microservices and frontend applications integrated with APIs.
- Deep understanding of web performance, API design, and data modeling.
- Experience with backend and frontend unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle is preferred.
- Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers is preferred.
- Familiarity with frontend component libraries and design systems is preferred.
- Strong product sense, attention to UX quality, and logistics or transportation industry knowledge are preferred.
