Responsibilities

  • Track developments in Agentic AI, evaluation, and AI-assisted software engineering.
  • Partner with product teams to define offline and online AI evaluation strategies.
  • Build AI-first tooling, including skills, tools, agent profiles, evaluation systems, backend services, and APIs.
  • Define technical direction through RFCs, technical designs, and architecture proposals.
  • Collaborate with ML teams to improve, scale, and extend AI tooling and infrastructure.
  • Contribute code and architecture reviews while promoting quality across the ML practitioner community.
  • Identify opportunities across the ML development lifecycle and introduce tools for efficient development and testing.
  • Coach other Machine Learning Engineers, Scientists, and Product Managers and drive projects from ideation through productization, measurement, and iteration.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant commercial experience applying Generative AI and Machine Learning Engineering to business problems.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python, and strong SQL skills.
  • Experience with large datasets, experimentation, scalability, and optimization across multiple machine learning areas.
  • Required experience operating machine learning systems in production and generating high-throughput predictions with ML frameworks.
  • Experience with data-driven product development, analytics, and A/B testing.
  • BSc or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Cloud environment experience is a plus, and Java knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, proactive working, and willingness to understand complex multidisciplinary business problems.
