Responsibilities

  • Lead global datacenter BMS engineering projects and own their execution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Configure software for supervisory and DDC-level controllers based on project inputs, MEP drawings, customer requirements, and account standards.
  • Perform software simulation and validation, and prepare commissioning packages and FAT, FWT, and SAT test scripts.
  • Optimize trend, alarm, and point COV databases and provide customer demonstrations of software functionality.
  • Coordinate stakeholders on RFIs and project progress, and deliver projects on schedule with defect-free software packages.
  • Perform factory FWT testing and provide remote or onsite support for site commissioning, troubleshooting, control-loop tuning, and test-script execution.
  • Integrate third-party controllers using BACnet IP, Modbus, and other communication protocols, including troubleshooting with Wireshark and ModScan.
  • Support sales during pre-bid stages by providing or validating controls solutions for datacenter projects.

Requirements

  • BE or ME in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
  • Hands-on software engineering experience for datacenter projects and strong understanding of datacenter mechanical and electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls.
  • Ability to program complex chilled-water, CDU, CRAH, CRAC, and AHU systems with equipment- or DDC-level redundancy.
  • Knowledge of datacenter HVAC systems, BMS architecture, operator workstations, supervisory and DDC controllers, sensors, actuators, network topology, and communication protocols.
  • Ability to handle Modbus and BACnet IP/MSTP integrations and troubleshoot software and controls issues.
  • Proficiency in wiring starters, field devices, safety interlocks, and panels.
  • Experience engineering, installing, and commissioning HVAC and BMS systems for datacenters or infrastructure projects such as pharmaceuticals, airports, commercial buildings, or hospitals.
  • Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and leadership skills.
  • Preferred 4–8 years of relevant experience in Building Automation, datacenter BMS verticals, BMS design engineering, or industrial automation.
