Responsibilities
- Architect and develop comprehensive end-to-end solutions and own the technical design and delivery of System Design Specifications.
- Build and enhance a risk computation platform supporting funding and liquidity metrics across capital-market products.
- Develop tooling and processes that improve team efficiency, scalability, stability, and operational effectiveness.
- Provide technical leadership to the group and collaborate with trading, treasury, risk management, and global technical stakeholders.
- Design and implement scalable applications using Java, Spring, Big Data technologies, APIs, databases, messaging, and cloud platforms.
- Apply DevOps practices and tooling for development, testing, build, monitoring, and delivery.
- Contribute to the technical direction and future versions of the funding and liquidity platform.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Java experience with a strong understanding of JVM internals.
- Experience with the Spring stack and microservice development using Spring Boot.
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Databricks, Hadoop, or Spark.
- Experience designing and integrating with API endpoints, working with relational databases, and writing SQL.
- Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, Jenkins, and development in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, clean coding practices, application monitoring, and performance KPIs.
- Experience collaborating effectively within global teams and communicating with technical and non-technical professionals.
- Knowledge of messaging technologies, preferably Kafka, is a plus.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is preferred.
- Experience with Angular or React is a plus.
- Knowledge of capital markets products is a plus.
