Base Salary
$234k - $351k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive technical strategy for expeditionary autonomy across V-BAT, X-BAT, and future platforms.
- Guide development and fielding of mission autonomy, payload integration, flight-autonomy interfaces, executive autonomy, and multi-agent capabilities.
- Lead architecture, interface, engineering-standard, integration, testing, and developer-experience improvements across multiple engineering teams.
- Partner with Aircraft, Autonomy Capabilities, Perception, GCS, Strategic Systems, customer, and other organizations on platform integration and mission readiness.
- Define strategy for command-and-control interoperability and open-systems architectures.
- Mentor senior engineers, develop technical leaders, support senior hiring, and shape organizational engineering practices.
- Guide customer releases, deployment strategy, mission validation, flight tests, integration exercises, and critical operational events.
Requirements
- BS/MS in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Expert-level C++ and Linux systems development experience.
- Experience defining technical strategy across multiple engineering teams or programs.
- Proven ability to influence architecture and solve complex systems-integration challenges.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and driving engineering excellence.
- Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
