Base Salary
$60k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set up transfers of data feeds from source systems into locations accessible to the platform.
- Debug issues involving delayed or missing data feeds.
- Write transformations and derive new datasets using Spark for distributed computation.
- Monitor build progress and debug build problems.
- Design applications using the platform’s application development framework.
- Rapidly develop, test, and troubleshoot applications with subject-matter experts.
- Execute requests for information concerning the platform’s data footprint.
- Iterate with product teams while debugging and understanding code supporting the core platform.
Requirements
- An active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency with Python, including PySpark and Pandas, SQL, R, or similar programming languages.
- Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures as applied to development and problem solving.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Proven customer communication skills, including feedback gathering, execution updates, and troubleshooting.
