Responsibilities

Serve as the functional and technical expert for SCADA and EMS solutions, including their supporting components.
Prioritize projects and operational activities with business stakeholders and coordinate dependencies with related IT projects.
Test business requirements and validate business specifications before approval.
Translate requirements into functional and technical designs using Microsoft .NET for software developed internally.
Coordinate with internal and external developers and the .NET Technical Manager on externally developed or purchased software.
Validate and monitor quality-management and testing strategies during deployment.
Supervise releases, provide second-line end-user support, and organize and prioritize solution maintenance.

Master’s degree with a specialization in IT and/or electrical engineering.
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience with real-time energy-sector environments, including SCADA, EMS, and real-time availability constraints.
Experience with real-time protocols and standards such as ICCP, IEC104, and CGMES.
Ability to communicate technical and design topics with developers, IT infrastructure teams, and system operators.
Fluent English and good knowledge of Dutch and/or French.
Analytical, detail-oriented, organized, customer-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Willingness to travel abroad occasionally for projects; experience in the electricity and/or energy sector is preferred.
