Responsibilities

Act as the functional and technical expert for real-time SCADA and EMS solutions and supporting components.
Deliver IT projects and provide operational support for energy-market applications.
Work with business stakeholders to prioritize project and operational activities.
Coordinate dependencies and synergies with preceding and subsequent IT projects.
Test business requirements and validate business-defined specifications.
Translate requirements into functional and technical designs based on Microsoft .NET technologies for internally developed software.
Collaborate with internal and external developers and the .NET Technical Manager.
Follow up on purchased or externally developed software projects.
Approve, test, and monitor quality-management strategies during rollouts.
Supervise releases, provide second-line end-user support, and prioritize solution maintenance.

Master’s degree in IT and/or electricity.
At least three years of relevant experience.
Experience with real-time contexts in the energy sector, including SCADA, EMS, and real-time availability constraints.
Experience with real-time protocols and standards such as ICCP, IEC104, and CGMES.
Ability to communicate technical topics with developers and infrastructure teams and technical or design matters with operators.
Knowledge of and experience in the electricity and/or energy sector is preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Fluent English and good knowledge of Dutch and/or French.
Willingness to travel abroad occasionally for projects.
