Responsibilities
- Lead technical development and delivery at team and sometimes lab level.
- Deliver software engineering outputs and, where applicable, provide line management, application ownership, and overall technology delivery.
- Set short-term objectives, manage performance, and develop the capabilities of direct reports.
- Provide specialized training and coaching in areas of expertise.
- Identify process, system, IT security, and procedural shortcomings and deliver improvement plans.
- Analyze technical and professional problems, develop product specifications, and design testing procedures and standards.
- Deliver specialized products and services, manage risks, and meet customer needs.
Requirements
- 6–12 years of experience.
- AI engineering skills.
- Python experience.
- CI/CD experience.
- Ability to analyze problems, develop technical solutions, and design testing procedures and standards.
- Ability to manage others, set objectives, coach colleagues, and work within established delivery, risk, security, and performance-management systems.
