Responsibilities
- Design Python automation frameworks, modules, reusable libraries, API integrations, and data transformation logic for enterprise storage and backup operations.
- Architect and maintain Ansible collections, modules, roles, inventories, and playbooks for storage and SAN infrastructure.
- Build n8n workflows connecting APIs, databases, webhooks, storage platforms, Python scripts, and event-driven triggers.
- Develop automation pipelines for provisioning, monitoring, compliance, reporting, remediation, telemetry ingestion, and lifecycle orchestration.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and automate storage operations including host registration, zoning, data collection, capacity forecasting, and health checks.
- Develop self-healing and AI-assisted workflows for anomaly detection, alerting, and operational decision-making.
- Integrate automation with Git workflows, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, logging, metrics, dashboards, and alerting.
- Create SQL-based data pipelines and automated dashboards for storage telemetry and CMDB-related workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Deep expertise in Python, Ansible, and n8n.
- Experience with REST API integrations, infrastructure-as-code, enterprise storage and backup environments, and workflow automation.
- Experience integrating Ansible with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI and applying Ansible best practices.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud storage platforms such as AWS S3, Azure Blob, or GCP Storage, and infrastructure-as-code for storage automation.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Grafana, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
- Experience with workflow engines such as Rundeck.
- Experience building automated test harnesses using pytest or similar frameworks.
- Experience with LLM-based tools, AI-assisted anomaly detection, agent frameworks, embeddings, or vector databases is a plus.
