Full Stack Software Engineer - Core Infrastructure

Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and release backend services used during manufacturing and deployment of Anduril products.
- Define foundational software architectures, configuration processes, and user-experience workflows for TRS products.
- Collaborate with chief engineers, program managers, flight-test engineers, autonomy teams, and customers to demonstrate capabilities and iterate on feedback.
- Build frontend interfaces and high-performance backend services using the team’s software and infrastructure technologies.
- Test and evaluate software through simulations, benchtop hardware, and live flight assets.
- Develop infrastructure and tools that enable technicians, engineers, and operators to prepare autonomous systems for real-world missions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working with multiple programming languages, such as Python, Rust, C++, Go, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience working with customers to deliver novel software capabilities.
- Experience building user interfaces with frontend frameworks such as React or PySide.
- Experience with software development lifecycle tools, version control, CI/CD systems, or comparable engineering workflows.
- Understanding of computer and network systems, including UDP, TCP, gRPC, and REST.
- Experience with scalable backend systems, data storage and processing requirements, cloud platforms, software infrastructure, networking, security, or distributed systems is preferred.
- Experience creating infrastructure for robots or other complex embedded devices is preferred.
- Experience with modern build and deployment tooling such as CircleCI, Docker, NixOS, and Terraform is preferred.
- Experience designing complex software systems and participating in technical design reviews is preferred.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and data management tools and practices is preferred.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
