Base Salary
$186k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build clean, modular, reusable software abstractions that support thousands of data pipelines.
- Build and maintain data integration and processing SDKs for data teams and internal services.
- Design self-service applications for analysts and data scientists to create, manage, and troubleshoot pipelines.
- Build tooling for data security and observability, including access controls, data quality tracking, dataset cataloging and lineage, and usage auditing.
- Consult upstream teams on database and data API structure and provide downstream data scientists with documented data models and metrics.
- Translate requests from analysts, ML teams, and security and compliance teams into reusable, scalable patterns.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience.
- Strong Python or Java backend development skills.
- Fluent SQL skills for ETL/ELT, data quality, and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies.
- General experience with data systems or data pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Git, Linux, and Docker.
- Experience with Airflow, BI tools, and AI tools.
