Responsibilities
- Develop product features for data marketplaces, mobile applications, web applications, and API services.
- Participate in migration to the public cloud as appropriate for the team.
- Contribute to test automation, peer reviews, and product-quality improvements.
- Maintain a production-first mindset focused on scalability, uptime, and rapid issue resolution.
- Perform data and query analysis and optimization for scalable, performant products and services.
- Implement security controls and develop automated, repeatable, and reliable testing.
- Troubleshoot complex problems and work across teams to meet commitments.
- Drive adoption of software development best practices and contribute to Agile Scrum improvements.
Requirements
- Experience developing software in C# or Java-based technologies, or the high-level programming language used by the product team.
- Experience in software development and test automation is required.
- Experience with new feature development, automated tests, security controls, data and query optimization, and test data management.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and contributing to process improvements.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex problems, collaborate across teams, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering field and/or commensurate experience is preferred.
- Preferred AI experience includes AI-assisted software development or automation, prompting techniques, and awareness of generative AI capabilities and limitations.
