Responsibilities

Design, build, ship, and maintain full-stack software across frontend, backend, databases, and APIs.
Extend MIDNIGHT, VVater’s in-house ERP, and build internal tools, dashboards, portals, and business applications.
Develop APIs and integrations, own features through deployment and iteration, and solve technical problems across the organization.
Use AI tools and large language models to rapidly prototype and productionize software, features, agents, and automations.
Own VVater’s websites, WordPress themes and plugins, custom development, content updates, performance, security, reliability, and backups.
Modernize the web stack and migrate beyond WordPress when appropriate.
Lead SEO, technical SEO audits, on-page optimization, link building, PPC management, and optimization for AI-powered and generative search.
Use analytics and SEO tools to monitor performance, analyze behavior, and report website, SEO, and AI-search results to leadership.
Partner with marketing and iterate web, SEO, and AI-search initiatives based on data.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Proven experience designing, building, and shipping full-stack applications.
Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, modern frameworks, backend development, databases, and APIs.
Proven WordPress development experience with themes, plugins, and custom work.
Extensive hands-on experience with AI tools and large language models such as Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, and ChatGPT.
Experience implementing and managing SEO strategies, including technical SEO.
Understanding of GEO, AEO, and LLM SEO, or the ability to learn these areas quickly.
Fluency in a modern programming language such as Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Familiarity with SEMRush, Google Analytics, Moz, Meltwater, or similar tools.
Strong SQL and/or NoSQL database skills and experience with responsive and adaptive design.
Preferred qualifications include experience with ERP, CRM, CPQ, legacy-platform modernization, UX/UI design, AI-search visibility, PPC, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD, and a portfolio or GitHub examples.
Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, ownership, and multitasking skills are expected.

This is an onsite position in Austin, Texas with no remote or hybrid availability.
Assessment tests are required as part of the recruitment process.
