Responsibilities
- Develop data science applications and contribute to MSCI’s AI adoption initiatives.
- Implement ML, NLP, GenAI, agentic AI, and statistical, ML-based, and AI-driven anomaly detection methods.
- Deliver functionality for internal production and client delivery platforms.
- Support teams in implementing AI solutions and integrating services with MSCI data science products and platforms.
- Work with content experts to understand MSCI APIs and data delivery platforms.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Quality Assurance, Data Operations, and IT Infrastructure throughout the development lifecycle.
- Help deliver reliable, high-quality, and scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience finding patterns in data, creating statistical models, exploring data, visualizing data, and performing data mining.
- Experience developing AI and ML solutions and delivering them to production.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and NLP.
- Expertise in statistical, ML-based, and AI-driven anomaly detection for irregularities, data drift, and data quality issues.
- Prior LLM and agentic AI experience or projects is a strong plus.
- Understanding of software development practices including test-driven development, refactoring, pair programming, and solid design principles.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions, especially Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and strongly delivery-oriented.
