Base Salary
$155k - $223k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, secure, and resilient components for the Common Services Platform and related solutions.
- Partner with Product Management to understand requirements, estimate work, and support sprint and quarterly planning.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver end-to-end functionality and align integration points and infrastructure.
- Develop proofs of concept and prototypes to validate ideas, technical approaches, and performance.
- Contribute to system design and implementation for high-quality, timely delivery.
- Mentor peers and engineering interns and share engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related experience, master’s degree plus 3 years, or PhD plus 0 years designing, developing, and deploying enterprise software in production.
- At least 3 years developing, deploying, and managing large-scale cloud-native web applications and microservices with Go, Terraform, AWS Lambda, AppSync, and ECS/EKS.
- At least 3 years using SQL/PostgreSQL and NoSQL/DynamoDB storage systems.
- At least 1 year building event-driven systems with Kafka, SQS, or SNS.
- Experience using AI/ML tools or APIs, including LLM-based coding assistants, model APIs, or ML-driven automation, to support software development.
- Preferred experience with graph traversal, recursive or hierarchical data modeling, layered service architectures, and ORM frameworks such as GORM.
- Preferred ability to translate difficult problems into solutions and communicate clearly across cross-functional and distributed teams.
