Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices and platform integrations.
- Develop and maintain high-performance Java and Spring Boot applications.
- Create and optimize APIs with a focus on system reliability, efficiency, and speed.
- Implement asynchronous communication systems and comprehensive testing strategies.
- Develop monitoring and alerting solutions and provide production support and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, business, and cross-functional teams to refine and deliver technical solutions.
- Apply CI/CD and production deployment best practices while adapting to shifting priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases, microservices architecture, and design patterns.
- Experience with APIs, asynchronous streaming, production support, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on cloud computing experience, preferably with AWS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, production deployment best practices, and AI tools such as Claude Code and AWS Kiro.
- Good understanding of React frontend applications is desired.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated commitment to high-quality, maintainable code.
