Responsibilities
- Develop, code, test, debug, and enhance complex software solutions and applications.
- Design, plan, develop, and improve cloud-based or internet-related tools and products.
- Apply coding standards, software design patterns, development best practices, and quality practices.
- Develop microservices and web services using Java and relevant frameworks.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases and Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Use build tools, CI/CD practices, code quality tools, and automated testing frameworks.
- Provide technical mentorship, technology guidance, and broader business and product context to teams.
- Collaborate with supervisors, architects, product managers, HR, and other stakeholders on projects and team performance.
Requirements
- Master's degree in business or a technical/engineering field from a reputed or accredited university.
- At least 2.5 years of software development experience.
- At least 2.5 years of experience with Core Java and J2EE, including Java 8 or later.
- Strong understanding of data structures, object-oriented analysis and design, multithreading, and problem solving.
- Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and EhCache.
- Experience applying GOF and J2EE software design patterns.
- Experience developing web services using Jersey, Apache Axis, CXF, or comparable frameworks.
- Understanding of relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL and NoSQL databases such as Mongo.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and build tools such as Maven, Gradle, and Git.
- Understanding of TDD and experience with unit, system, and integration testing, including JUnit.
- Experience developing microservices, preferably with Spring Boot.
- Understanding of CI/CD and Jenkins, plus familiarity with Veracode and Sonar.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills and a disciplined, commitment-oriented approach.
