Responsibilities
- Design and implement control programming for new and existing building management system sites.
- Perform chiller performance reviews, audit reporting, and maintenance activities for HVAC energy solutions.
- Implement and deliver Johnson Controls OpenBlue digital solutions as part of the digital delivery and solution architect team.
- Support data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects involving cooling systems, sustainability, resilience, and optimization.
- Participate in research projects with higher learning institutions, startups, and other external organizations.
- Complete a full-cycle project during the final year of the program.
- Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, controls, and digital engineering disciplines.
- Stay current with electrical and mechanical industry trends and advancements.
Requirements
- Be a graduating student or recent graduate with a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Infrastructure and Project Management, Urban Systems, Energy Management, or a related field.
- Have up to two years of experience.
- Demonstrate strong interest in sustainability and smart-building solutions.
- Have robust analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Be able to approach challenges from both electrical and mechanical perspectives.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Be able to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing project needs.
- Complete a video interview and assessment center if shortlisted.
