Responsibilities
- Drive architecture and technical direction across multiple services and teams.
- Lead complex, cross-cutting initiatives such as migrations and platform evolution.
- Own reliability and performance at scale, making high-leverage engineering decisions.
- Raise engineering standards through design documentation and reviews.
- Mentor senior engineers and influence technical strategy beyond a single team.
- Partner with engineering leadership and stakeholders on technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of software engineering experience with a track record of technical leadership.
- Experience driving architecture and technical direction across multiple services or teams.
- Expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.
- Demonstrated impact on multi-team technical direction and reliability/performance.
- A history of mentoring senior engineers and producing widely adopted standards.
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred but not required.
