Responsibilities
- Define connected-vehicle platform reference architectures covering 5G, TCU, V2X, OBU, GNSS, OTA, telematics backends, and C-ITS PKI integration.
- Lead MBSE adoption, SysML-based security architecture, model-driven TARA traceability, automated cybersecurity requirements, and risk tracking.
- Drive organizational cybersecurity strategy, UNECE R155/R156 compliance, CSMS and SUMS frameworks, ISO/SAE 21434 governance, and type-approval preparation.
- Govern ASPICE Level 3 SYS compliance and define readiness roadmaps for Levels 4 and 5.
- Develop reusable security architecture templates, TARA knowledge bases, ICD catalogs, and OTA system references.
- Engage OEM CISOs, chief cybersecurity officers, chief connectivity architects, standards groups, and regulatory bodies.
- Lead technical proposals, build connected-vehicle systems-engineering and cybersecurity competencies, and develop training and centers of excellence.
- Support development and deployment of connected-car features across cloud environments and automotive CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience is stated, with additional information requiring a minimum of 15 years in connected vehicles, automotive telematics, V2X, or the SDV domain.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Automotive Engineering, with 15 years of full-time education required.
- Expertise in connected-vehicle systems engineering, cybersecurity architecture, TARA, regulatory compliance, and ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE R155/R156 governance.
- Experience defining platform-level connected-vehicle cybersecurity architectures for multiple OEM customers and delivering compliant production programs.
- Deep MBSE expertise, including model-based TARA and SysML-based security architecture.
- Experience governing ASPICE-compliant systems engineering organizations and driving continuous process improvement.
- Experience engaging OEM CISOs and chief connectivity architects on complex cybersecurity programs.
- Preferred knowledge of ETSI ITS, C-ITS PKI, 3GPP V2X, network slicing, MEC, VAE, STRIDE, PASTA, HEAVENS, satellite-ground hybrid connectivity, and post-quantum PKI transition strategies.
