Base Salary
$172k - $258k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and improve services for ISR, PPR, and image optimization using Go, Lua, and TypeScript.
- Execute well-defined projects independently from implementation to safe rollout and validation.
- Monitor and maintain production work by building dashboards and adding metrics and alerts.
- Contribute to the team's observability and testing surface, including dashboards and e2e test suites.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and contribute to incident follow-ups for system resilience.
- Collaborate with teammates and partner teams through design discussions and code reviews.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience building and operating backend services in production.
- Proficiency in Go, TypeScript/Node.js, or a comparable systems language.
- Solid understanding of HTTP and web fundamentals, including caching headers and request/response lifecycle.
- Ability to write tested, instrumented, and documented code.
- Curiosity about large-scale systems and motivation to explore unfamiliar code and production data.
- Strong communication skills and reliability as a collaborative teammate.
