Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions and data integration components.
  • Build extensible data acquisition and integration solutions that extract, transform, and distribute data across data stores.
  • Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines using Spark, PySpark, and Scala.
  • Perform complex data analysis and develop business intelligence integration designs.
  • Gather conclusions from large and diverse datasets to identify problems and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with distributed internal product development and cross-functional teams.
  • Use authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools while validating outputs through peer review, testing, and secure coding practices.
  • Support secure, stable, scalable application development and operational stability.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in data integration projects using big data technologies.
  • Hands-on AWS data warehousing and database platform experience with EMR, S3, AWS Glue, Lambda, Apache Airflow, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong CI/CD experience using Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, YAML, and Maven for cloud deployments.
  • Hands-on Spark engineering experience with PySpark or Scala for scalable data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of big data querying tools including Athena, RDS, and Databricks SQL Warehouse.
  • Experience with Parquet, ORC, Avro, Delta Lake, or Iceberg data and table formats.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and data lake concepts.
  • Strong experience with Java, open-source technologies, and API standards.
  • Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience using authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Preferred experience with Oracle, SQL, NoSQL data stores such as DynamoDB, and Databricks.
  • Ability to learn new technologies in a dynamic environment.
