Responsibilities
- Build and maintain monitoring dashboards and automated root-cause analysis processes for AI-related metrics.
- Develop data replay capabilities to reconstruct and validate metrics.
- Design and implement unified alerting across metric streams.
- Build synthetic test infrastructure for metric signal validation.
- Integrate metric-quality signals directly into deployment pipelines.
- Work across a cross-functional, distributed team and share knowledge with teammates.
Requirements
- Strong backend or data engineering fundamentals.
- Experience building data pipelines, ETL systems, or observability tooling.
- Comfort working with SQL and large-scale data systems.
- A strong focus on data accuracy, reliability, and trust in metrics.
- Ability to work autonomously across a cross-functional, distributed team.
- Understanding of performant, decoupled, testable, and maintainable code.
- Interest in open source and learning new technologies.
- Preferred: experience working on platform teams.
- Preferred: experience building, running, and monitoring systems on AWS, including capacity management and troubleshooting platforms at scale.
- Preferred: exposure to large-scale data processing or analysis.
