Responsibilities
- Write scalable software supporting tens of thousands of daily Firefox build, test, and release tasks.
- Configure, optimize, and maintain Mozilla’s release and deployment pipeline.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to improve developer experience and implement those improvements.
- Work with geographically distributed engineering teams across North America and Europe.
- Participate in requesting and providing code reviews.
- Respond to critical service outages during normal working hours without an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related program, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience working with an object-oriented programming language, preferably Python.
- Passion for CI/CD pipelines and previous experience using cloud resources such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Comfort developing in Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, with shell scripting experience.
- Experience working on teams distributed across time zones.
- Ability and interest in learning and improving existing codebases and tools.
