Responsibilities
- Design and improve the orchestration engine for creating, merging, and rebasing Supabase Branches.
- Provision ephemeral sandboxed execution environments on EKS and ECS for untrusted build workloads with securely managed secrets.
- Implement job scheduling for thousands of concurrent builds.
- Optimize pipeline runtimes through caching, artifact storage, and dependency reuse.
- Manage retry, timeout, cancellation, and failure-propagation behavior.
- Instrument pipeline lifecycles with traces, metrics, and structured logs.
- Develop JSON and TOML configuration files and Terraform and Pulumi integrations for defining, triggering, and inspecting pipelines.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering skills in Go and TypeScript are required.
- At least 3 years of experience building and operating cloud infrastructure or distributed systems at scale.
- Required knowledge of cloud infrastructure and AWS constructs.
- Strongly preferred experience with AWS SDKs and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Pulumi and Terraform.
- Experience building reliable, observable, and maintainable production systems.
- Ability to work independently with high-level guidance and communicate across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in asynchronous or globally distributed teams is preferred.
