Responsibilities
- Design scalable and performant applications, systems, and infrastructure using MongoDB.
- Advise customers on architecture patterns, optimization strategies, and the business value of MongoDB.
- Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, proof-of-value activities, presentations, sizing, and documentation throughout the deal cycle.
- Partner with sales teams on account planning, opportunity qualification, pipeline generation, and technical deal execution.
- Generate demand through technical initiatives, trade shows, and account-based marketing events.
- Build customer relationships, develop champions, and drive customer success and satisfaction.
- Relay field feedback to product teams and mentor other Solutions Consulting team members.
- Maintain ongoing knowledge of MongoDB products and relevant industry trends.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of related industry experience, ideally including 2 years in a customer-facing role.
- At least 2 years of professional experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Node.js, SQL, C/C++, Java, or C#.
- Experience implementing scalable and highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Experience reviewing complex application architectures and advising customers on improvements.
- Strong presentation, communication, interpersonal, and technical-business communication skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional sales teams through the full deal cycle.
- Fluency in French or Spanish.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with major cloud providers, technical pre-sales, database programming, data models, data engineering or AI/ML projects, MongoDB or cloud certifications, and sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
