Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software and services.
  • Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications and platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across applications and services.
  • Contribute to system performance, scalability, reliability, and observability.
  • Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
  • Work with development, cloud, and DevOps tools and practices, including automated testing and CI/CD.

Requirements

  • Professional experience developing and maintaining software applications or services.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more modern programming languages.
  • Experience building scalable and maintainable software.
  • Familiarity with APIs, databases, and distributed or cloud-based systems.
  • Understanding of software engineering principles, testing, debugging, and code quality.
  • Experience with version control and modern software development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms is preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD, containerisation, DevOps practices, high-volume or distributed systems, frontend, backend, full-stack development, networking, telecommunications, connectivity, performance measurement, or data-intensive applications is preferred.
