Responsibilities
- Develop solution architectures and translate business requirements into sustainable technical solutions for financial-services clients.
- Create target architectures, solution concepts, and transformation roadmaps and support their implementation.
- Advise on solution, application, data, integration, and cloud architectures.
- Assess existing system landscapes and identify opportunities to improve architecture, integration, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Support technology decisions involving cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, data architectures, integration architectures, and technology stacks.
- Connect business, IT, development, and other stakeholders and represent architecture decisions to technical and business audiences.
- Depending on experience, lead architecture workstreams, subprojects, and technical teams.
- Contribute to internal technology and architecture initiatives and share expertise within Capco.
Requirements
- Completed university degree, for example in computer science, business informatics, engineering, or natural sciences, or a comparable qualification, together with several years of relevant professional experience.
- Substantial experience designing and implementing solution architectures, ideally in banking, insurance, or other financial-services environments.
- Broad technology knowledge and the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical architectures and implementable solution concepts.
- Experience with modern and traditional system landscapes and architecture principles and patterns covering cloud, APIs, microservices, integration, and data.
- Experience with at least one relevant cloud platform and understanding of cloud-native architecture, security, governance, and scalability.
- Knowledge of common programming languages, frameworks, and development practices; hands-on development experience is advantageous but not the primary focus.
- Ability to assess solution options based on business value, technical feasibility, cost, risk, and strategic target architecture.
- Ideally experienced in coordinating technical teams and workstreams and managing diverse business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and self-management skills.
- Fluent German and English and flexibility for hybrid collaboration and on-site client assignments.
