Base Salary
$176k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain geometry algorithms powering map data interfaces.
- Implement and maintain mapping data formats, validation frameworks, post-processing pipelines, and interfaces for downstream customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship features and expand downstream APIs.
- Create design documentation, test plans, and other supporting work artifacts.
- Contribute to prototyping, requirements capture, design, implementation, and validation across the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency in C++.
- Strong code-quality fundamentals, including correctness, testability, and modularity.
- Strong mathematical skills, particularly in computational geometry.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Experience with geographic data, spatial acceleration structures, or surface meshes is a bonus.
- Familiarity with road network topology is a bonus.
- Knowledge of statistics and metric design is a bonus.
- Experience with software profiling or performance tuning is a bonus.
