Responsibilities

  • Research and compare agentic AI approaches combining LLM-driven agents with static and program analysis.
  • Select promising approaches and AI engines, including options beyond LLMs.
  • Design and build an agentic AI prototype that navigates legacy .NET/VB6 code and cross-references related modules.
  • Extract and document business rules as clear specifications for expert review.
  • Add mechanisms to identify uncertain findings and validate results with domain experts.
  • Develop repeatable methodologies and best practices for legacy modernization assessment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Programming experience in .NET.
  • Ideally, knowledge of VB6 or VB.NET, or willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with static code analysis.
  • Experience with different AI engines and LLMs.
  • Curiosity about agentic AI and willingness to build an agent.
  • Structured communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English plus German or French.
  • Academic transcripts must be attached to the application.
