Responsibilities
- Build backend infrastructure and products for the Databricks platform at scale.
- Design and develop distributed systems, scalable service architectures, monitoring, workflow orchestration, and developer experience capabilities.
- Deliver reliable, high-performance services and client libraries for storing and accessing large amounts of data on cloud storage backends.
- Build scalable services and data pipelines supporting pricing infrastructure and customer platform-usage controls.
Requirements
- BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of production-level experience in Java, Scala, C++, or a similar language.
- Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with service-oriented architectures.
- Good knowledge of SQL.
