Responsibilities
- Develop customer-specific Java backend and AI applications in interdisciplinary project teams.
- Design and implement microservice architectures and distributed systems.
- Transform software engineering processes by integrating generative AI tools across the software development lifecycle.
- Support solutions from initial concept through go-live.
- Guide customers through digital transformation projects in the insurance domain.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in Java backend development for scalable web-based systems and applications.
- Experience with databases and frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Professional experience developing software solutions for the insurance industry or a comparable regulated sector such as banking.
- Familiarity with insurance standards and business processes.
- Several years of experience programming AI use cases with various frameworks.
- Interest in generative AI technologies including GPT, Gemini, Llama, LangChain, and LlamaIndex, plus initial MLOps experience.
- Very good German language skills at least at C1 level and good English skills.
