Responsibilities
- Develop real-time ADAS sensor-data visualization and HD lane-level navigation for the Mapbox Navigation SDK.
- Implement simulation tools for driving scenarios and sensor-data playback.
- Write performant C++ to integrate automotive navigation data inputs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Implement rendering and navigation features and own development across data, navigation experiences, platforms, and stacks.
- Profile and debug automotive navigation experiences to optimize performance on customer platforms.
- Work with customers and partners to discover requirements, recommend implementations, and debug integrations.
- Collaborate on cross-platform API design, hardware-specific performance tuning, and product stability, maintainability, and simplicity.
Requirements
- Broad experience in software development, customer engagements, and automotive compliance standards.
- Strong expertise in modern and embedded C++.
- Proficiency in rendering, algorithms, and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of ADAS features such as ACC and LKA and their visual representation in displays and HMI systems.
- Experience with sensor fusion and filtering techniques.
- Experience with build systems such as CMake and Gradle and with developing frameworks or developer tools.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English for working with distributed teams, customers, and partners.
- Preferred experience with AGL, AOSP, Android Automotive, QNX, automotive CAN bus, HD mapping, Yocto, Docker, Qt, Flutter, Kotlin, Shell Script, JavaScript, Python, or related automotive technologies.
