Lead Software Engineer – User Insights

Responsibilities
- Build a telemetry system that supports product-led growth and product adoption insights.
- Build a centralized experimentation platform for data-driven decision-making across Salesforce.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Drive parallel feature development and incremental software delivery.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers through technical guidance and support.
- Maintain code quality and performance through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
- Promote software development best practices, including DevOps practices.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and stay current with relevant technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of software development experience focused on enterprise solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Java and the ability to adapt to other programming languages.
- Experience with AWS and microservices architecture.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and AWS Kinesis, SNS, SQS, or EventBridge.
- Experience with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and contract-first development.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment and use data-driven approaches to continuous improvement.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills.
- Preferred: experience with Salesforce technologies and platforms, enterprise integration patterns, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools and processes.
