Base Salary
$195k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own a product surface end to end, from customer conversations and product design through API design, implementation, and rollout.
- Design and ship granular, flexible, low-latency alerting and analytics that can meet contractual latency SLAs.
- Build real-time entitlement and spend-control primitives, including credit balances, allocations, usage-percentage alerts, and rate limits.
- Shape the roadmap, primitives, and interfaces that other teams build against.
- Work with product management, design, sales, customer success, and enterprise and AI customers to translate pain points into product capabilities.
Requirements
- 9+ years of software engineering experience.
- Track record of owning products or systems end to end.
- Strong product instincts and customer empathy, including comfort working close to customers and business impact.
- Experience designing APIs and data models used by other teams and customers.
- Systems depth sufficient to reason about real-time and low-latency tradeoffs.
- Strong attention to detail across API design, product UX, and implementation.
- Experience with Orb’s specific technology stack is not required; engineers are encouraged to apply regardless of stack background.
