Base Salary
$128k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build new features for internal and external users and refactor existing functionality.
- Drive application platform architecture in alignment with team needs and future product roadmaps.
- Own the full software development lifecycle and the quality of software produced by the engineer and team.
- Collaborate with product, design, machine learning, infrastructure, clinical, QA, and regulatory teams.
- Support the reliability, data integrity, compliance, validation, and inspection readiness of a clinical-trial SaaS platform.
- Uphold engineering standards through code review, testing, integration, and consistency across codebases.
- Mentor teammates, learn continuously, and share knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- 5+ years of full-lifecycle development experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing and building Python-based applications with FastAPI or Django.
- Experience with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or equivalent.
- Foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Demonstrated cloud platform experience with AWS.
- Ability to handle complex tasks, learn quickly, collaborate with distributed teams, work autonomously, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to attend client-facing meetings and explain technical concepts to non-experts.
- Preferred experience includes healthtech, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and managing multiple projects efficiently.
Benefits

- Expected base salary range is $127,500-$195,500.
