Base Salary
$139k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead advanced penetration testing engagements across on-premises and cloud application portfolios.
- Create sophisticated attack plans to identify vulnerabilities across web, mobile, network, and distributed systems.
- Provide detailed remediation guidance to development teams and support long-term product security maturity.
- Build and operate agentic AI workflows to scale security testing across complex architectures.
- Make risk-based security decisions and promote a proactive security culture.
- Develop and maintain custom security tooling and mentor team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years, Master’s degree plus 4 years, or PhD plus 1 year of related application-level penetration-testing experience.
- Advanced offensive-security proficiency across web applications, mobile applications, networks, and distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of common vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and remediation strategies.
- Experience with the public cloud platforms AWS and GCP.
- Ability to develop and maintain custom tooling using Python or Bash.
- Preferred: security research publications, CVEs, open-source projects, or bug-bounty recognition.
- Preferred: proficiency in C++, JavaScript, Python, or Go.
- Preferred: experience with Splunk or similar large-scale data platforms.
- Preferred: experience building cross-functional relationships with engineering teams and mentoring or providing technical feedback.

- Starting salary range of $139,300.00 to $203,600.00, with location-specific ranges provided for certain U.S. states and metropolitan areas.
