Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead technical privacy-by-design reviews for new features and architectural changes.
- Drive compliance with global privacy regulations by translating legal requirements into engineering standards.
- Evaluate and mitigate privacy risks in AI/ML systems.
- Build and operate systems for data rights and privacy-enhancing technologies.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and threat modeling for high-risk data processing.
- Advocate for privacy-preserving solutions and serve as a trusted technical advisor.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure privacy policies reflect underlying technology.
- Develop customer-facing trust documentation on privacy.
- Design and implement privacy-preserving analytics and measurement systems.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years focused on privacy or data protection.
- Deep understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and emerging global privacy frameworks.
- Experience building technical controls for data governance at scale.
- Familiarity with privacy risks in ML systems.
- Strong foundation in privacy-by-design principles.
- Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into engineering specifications.
- Experience with cryptographic techniques and de-identification frameworks.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
