Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end offensive security research against custom server platforms and infrastructure attack surfaces.
- Research vulnerabilities across firmware, secure boot, hardware roots of trust, kernels, operating systems, defense layers, and user-space applications.
- Investigate memory corruption, parsing and state-machine flaws, cryptographic-protocol flaws, authentication weaknesses, rollback attacks, and logic attacks.
- Develop security tooling and apply AI techniques, LLMs, and machine learning to vulnerability research.
- Collaborate with other researchers and cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities and deploy fixes quickly.
Requirements
- Proven full-stack vulnerability research experience spanning firmware, secure boot, hardware roots of trust, kernel, and user-space attack surfaces.
- Strong understanding of relevant vulnerability classes and exploitation techniques.
- Fluency in applying AI techniques and tools, such as LLMs and machine learning, to security research.
- Deep knowledge of remote and local attestation protocols, HSM and key management architecture, and platform trust boundaries is preferred.
- Hands-on Linux security experience from kernel to user space is preferred.
- Familiarity with BMCs, remote management planes, confidential computing technologies, datacenter and cloud infrastructure, orchestration, network fabric, and provisioning systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of Apple operating systems such as iOS or macOS is a plus but not required.
