Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term roadmap for Cloud, Container, and Edge Protection programs.
- Manage edge and bot protection, including WAF, CDN, and DDoS mitigation.
- Perform security-focused infrastructure, secure design, and architecture reviews.
- Implement monitoring and alerting for cloud and container vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
- Own container image vulnerability scanning, remediation, and production enforcement gates.
- Embed security controls and scanners into CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Implement IaC security, runtime protection, automated remediation, and continuous security validation.
- Identify and resolve security gaps across cloud, container, and network infrastructure.
- Support threat modeling, risk assessments, development-lifecycle security guidance, and incident response.
- Track DevSecOps KPIs and mentor engineers while setting cloud and container security standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, or similar roles.
- Experience owning a security program or initiative end-to-end and influencing engineering teams outside the reporting line.
- Expertise with GCP, AWS, Azure, and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and ECS.
- Experience with cloud and container security tooling.
- Strong understanding of WAFs, bot mitigation, API gateways, and CDN security features.
- Proven experience performing secure design and architecture reviews.
- Proficiency with Terraform, OpenTofu, Helm, or similar IaC tools and integrating security scanners into pipelines.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform, OpenTofu, and/or Crossplane is preferred.
- Experience with CrowdStrike is preferred.
- Understanding of cloud networking, including VPCs, load balancing, and firewalls, is preferred.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database management is preferred.
- Relevant Kubernetes, cloud security, or DevOps certifications are preferred.
