Responsibilities
- Define and govern secure cloud security architectures for MC&FP cloud environments.
- Develop security architectures, control frameworks, and policy artifacts aligned with federal cybersecurity requirements.
- Establish Zero Trust security patterns across cloud environments.
- Provide architectural direction for DevSecOps integration and secure cloud deployment practices.
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Develop and maintain cloud security policies and governance artifacts.
- Assess existing security measures and recommend enhancements.
- Monitor security vulnerabilities and unusual activity in cloud infrastructure.
- Conduct security audits and prepare compliance assessment reports.
- Support incident response activities and update security measures as necessary.
- Provide security training and technical guidance to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of cloud security architecture and compliance controls.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of DoD SRG, FedRAMP, and Zero Trust principles.
- Expertise in information security technologies and risk assessment practices.
- Ability to analyze security systems and recommend improvements.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in complex environments.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex security concepts.
- Ability to collaborate across technical and program management teams.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in cloud environments, particularly in government settings.
- DoD Secret Security Clearance.
