Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain production-grade Python applications and services.
Build scalable APIs, distributed systems, and data pipelines for risk analytics and business workflows.
Develop cloud-native applications with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, observability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with Risk Managers and Quantitative Researchers to productionize analytical models and enhance existing platforms.
Contribute to architecture discussions and improve engineering standards, tooling, and development practices.
Use AI-assisted development tools to improve software quality, developer productivity, and delivery.

Excellent Python development skills and strong knowledge of object-oriented design and software engineering principles.
Demonstrable experience designing, building, and supporting high-quality production systems.
Experience developing REST APIs and backend services, with strong SQL knowledge.
Experience with distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and data pipelines.
Ability to test, debug, and optimize software with a focus on reliability and performance.
Experience with containerization and CI/CD practices.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and business stakeholders.
Experience or willingness to learn cloud-native technologies, monitoring and observability tooling, backend and data technologies, or infrastructure automation.
Experience in financial markets, quantitative analytics, trading, risk platforms, or another data-intensive low-latency environment is desirable.
Experience with AI-enabled engineering solutions, retrieval-augmented applications, agentic workflows, or modern AI-assisted development tools is desirable.
